If you have drivers that are newbies or more on the careful side, we'd recommend setting the Driving Speed closer to 'SLOW'.
Superstars who finish their routes in record time can be set as 'FAST'.
A few definitions:
NORMAL: Average driving speed.
SLOW: 10% of the average driving speed
e.g. If 'Normal' is 50 miles/hour, SLOW is 5 miles/hour.
FAST: Nearly twice as fast as the average driving speed
e.g. If 'Normal is 50 miles/hour, FAST is 95 miles/hour.
Note: We use Open Street Maps to gather the average driving speeds. The average driving speed is often below the legal maximum speed limit due either to traffic levels or to the physical characteristics of the road.
You may upload an additional column called Driving Speed in your CSV. The value can be written with or without the percentage sign. Like so:
If you do not include Driver Speed in your CSV, Routific will always assume NORMAL speed.
