Routific's software can now be set up to avoid tolls and ferries.

To avoid tolls, navigate to your settings panel in Routific's dispatcher view.

Where you see "Avoid toll roads" toggle ON.

For avoiding ferries, you'll need to write into support@routific.com to have this enabled on your account.

Please note that we currently do not have an option to avoid truck routes.

What Drivers Can Do

Drivers can also set Google Maps up to avoid toll roads, highways, or ferries when navigating from stop to stop.

For each stop, Routific's Mobile App gives the driver a Google Maps link to use for turn-by-turn directions.

Instructions for iPhones or iPads

  1. In Routific's mobile app, click the "Directions" button for the stop you're trying to navigate to. That should open the directions in Google Maps.

  2. Click the icon with the 3 dots in the top right corner, and choose "Route options" from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the Route options, you can turn on any of the toggles to avoid highways, tolls, or ferries. If you'd like your Google Maps app to remember these options, make sure to turn on "Remember settings".

Instructions for Android Phones

  1. In Routific's mobile app, click the "Directions" button for the stop you're trying to navigate to. That should open the directions in Google Maps.

  2. Click the icon with the 3 dots in the top right corner, and choose "Route options" from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the Route options, you can check any of the boxes to avoid highways/motorways, toll roads, or ferries.
