Use the notes field in Customer Profiles to easily categorize your recurring customers by which day of the week their deliveries fall on. Below is a workflow that works for many Routific users with repeating weekly deliveries.
1. Create Customer Profiles with Day of the Week in "Notes"
You can either upload multiple customer profiles with a spreadsheet by clicking "Upload Multiple Customers", or add them one by one by clicking "Add Customer".
If you're uploading multiple customer profiles with a spreadsheet, make sure to include a "Notes" column in your spreadsheet. In that column, indicate which day of the week you usually deliver to each of those customers.
If you're creating customer profiles one by one, make sure to fill out the "Notes" field with which day of the week you usually deliver to that customer.
Your customer profile notes should look like below:
2a. Add Saved Customers into an Existing Route
If you're adding customers into a route that you've already created, open the route that you want to add your saved customers into. At the top of the page, click the blue "+" sign to the right of "Stops".
Alternatively, if you're inside the "Stops" tab, click the blue "+", and then click "Add from Customer Profiles".
Search for the day of the week in the search bar at the top, and the customers with that day of the week in their notes should come up. Then, click "Add Customers" in the bottom right corner.
2b. Create a New Route with Saved Customers
If you're creating a brand new route from customers you've saved, open the Customer Profiles tab on your dashboard.
Search for the day of the week in the search bar at the top, and the customers with that day of the week in their notes should come up. Then, click "Start New Project" in the top right corner.
