What If My Phone Loses Signal While Using the Mobile App?

Actions on the mobile app – confirming delivery or collecting signatures, for example – are stored on the phone and cached.

Cellular and data coverage can be spotty at times.

If your mobile phone is disconnected from the data network, the actions on the mobile app – confirming delivery or collecting signatures, for example – are stored on the phone and cached.

A banner is displayed to the drivers as a warning (see below screenshot). During this time, the driver can still continue to use to app per usual.

It's important to note that the route planner/dispatcher will not see any updates on the Dispatcher View until the driver is able to get online again.

Once the mobile phone re-establishes a connection, that information will be pushed to Routific and the Dispatcher View will be updated at that time.

Using Google Maps Offline

It may be useful for you to download a map area to use offline. This way, even if you lose signal, you can still have access to Google Maps and navigation.
